稲盛会館・ INAMORI-AUDITORIUM

稲盛会館は、鹿児島大学工学部出身の京セラ（株）創設者・現会長の稲盛和夫氏から科学技術を中心とした知的交流を促進するための場として、鹿児島大学に寄贈されたもので、日本を代表する著名な建築家安藤忠雄氏の設計によるものである。
The INAMORI AUDITORIUM was constructed in 1994 based on the fund donated by Mr. Kazuo INAMORI who is an alumnus of Kagoshima University (Faculty of Engneering) and a founder of the world-wide enterprise KYOCERA. He is also famous as the founder of KYOTO PRIZE. This building includes a hall with a big egg in shape and two meeting rooms. This auditorium was designed by the famous archect Mr. Tadao ANDO.
